Beginner’s Guide to Thriving as a Brow/Lash Artist in 2025

Beginner’s Guide to Thriving as a Brow/Lash Artist in 2025

Welcome, future brow and lash queens (and kings)! If you’re new to the beauty game, buckle up because 2025 is your year.

Spoiler alert: there’s more to this career than Instagram photos of laminated brows—but don’t worry, I’ve got you.

Step 1: Stock Up, Smartly

Start with the essentials. Trust me, you don’t need every tool on Instagram. A few Bronsun Gel Dyes, a solid developer, Brow Perm kit and a great brush set will do the trick. Bonus: These products basically apply themselves. (Okay, not literally, but they’re amazing.)

Step 2: Education Is Everything

Think you can skip training because you’ve watched a few YouTube tutorials? Think again. Enroll in my online courses for pro-level skills, insider tips, and everything you need to slay your client’s brow game. Don't have time for a full blown course? I got you with Bronsun E-Book where you can learn coloristics and mixing along with application tips. Yes. Just like I said above they will not apply themselves, but almoooooost!

Step 3: Practice and Patience

The faster you start practising after your course - the better! That magic is in your finger tips.

Do model calls. I always say that you have started properly thinking as an artist after your first 10 models.

No one became a brow goddess overnight. Practice on friends, family, and that one cousin who always volunteers for free treatments.

Bonus: when you are working still remember to do model calls for content, experiments and inspiration.

Where to find models? Instagram or if your social anxiety is 0 like mine - come up to girls on the streets ;)

Step 4: Build Your Brand

Start small but dream big. Show off your work on social media, and don’t be shy about sharing your personality. Even if your first posts will get likes only from your mom and your cat - keep going! People book YOU as much as they book your services.

Pro Tip: Confidence Sells

Even if you’re new, be confident. Calm and confident, but also humble goes a long way. Want to boost that confidence? Then check out the online or offline learning materials that are available in store

xoxo
